Beatles Reunion Rumor Squashed

     Paul McCartney  has denied he will reunite with his former BEATLE band mate Ringo Starr at an upcoming homecoming gig in Liverpool.   Both were rumored to be reuniting at McCartney’s performance at the Capital of Culture concert in their native Liverpool on this Saturday (May 31, 2008).  McCartney insists Starr will not join him onstage. He's quoted as saying, "That was never going to be on the cards." Instead, McCartney will reportedly collaborate with the Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl. Other performers due to play at the show include the Zutons and the Kaiser Chiefs.
