All Points West Festival UPDATE

                   MUSIC FESTIVAL NEWS-  The 2008 All Points West Festival, August 8-10 at the Liberty State Park on the Hudson River in Jersey City, New Jersey USA has added Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Trey Anatasio and Classic TAB (featuring Russ Lawton, Tony Markellis and Ray Paczkowski), Robyn, Matt Costa, The Duke Spirit and Ben Jelen to the line-up. 

The festival's name is inspired by the historical events that occurred at Liberty State Park,Ellis Island and the Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal (CRRNJ) located on the festival site. During the 19^th and early 20^th centuries, the now abandoned Central Railroad Station at Liberty State Park served as the gateway for immigrants on their journey into the United States as they embarked across the country to ALL POINTS WEST. 

This year's APW festival feature's RADIOHEAD, CAT POWER, Trey Anatasio, Kings of Leon and Jack Johnson over three days on three stages.  Tickets range from $89.00 for individual days or $258.00 for three day passes, VIP tickets are also available for purchase (entitles you to a separate, priority entrance, a separate VIP area including shaded lounges, various additional beverages and food for purchase, a special viewing platform of the main stage, access to the LittleBigPlanet tent to be the first to play the hottest unreleased game for Playstation 3 and see exclusive performances.

This event has an outstanding location, is minutes from NYC and worth the trip.  If your on the East Coast or coming to NYC, you should be at the show!
