JONAS BROTHERS to Perform on MTV VMA Show !

     The Jonas Brothers will perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards (VMA).  It will be the superstar pop group's first-ever appearance at the event, known for its decadence and eye-popping water cooler moments (Madonna girl kiss with Britney Spears).  In a statement, brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick said: "This is an awesome opportunity. We have grown up watching all the amazing and iconic performances on the VMAs. It is an honor to be a part of something so incredible."   Don't expect kisses by them though, as MTV tries to clean up this event!  The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards will be held at the Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on September 7, and will air live around the world.  As MTV previously announced, a first for the awards, they will allow its audience to help decide the nominees.  Viewers will vote on two categories each week including, Video of the Year and Best New Artist by visiting the awards' website.  See other recent Jonas Brothers news, here.
