The teen superstar that has become gossip magazine fodder, Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana) recently sat down with a top music industry magazine for an interview. She discussed the "photos", her tour and the fans shut out of it, her new movie and acting future, her songwriting (yes, she writes some too), the new album and life in general as a superstar. She credits her mom and dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, as being the most important influences in her life.
With the new cd BREAKOUT due soon (purchase a copy HERE) she's been even busier than usual. And according to director Brett Ratner, who shot the video for Cyrus's new single
"7 Things" off her upcoming album cd, Cyrus is a mini Madonna" "She turns it on," he said this week. "A lot like Madonna." MNN isn't sure whether that is a compliment. Readers, what do you think?
In other Miley news, this week a another set of pictures appeared on the net, apparently stolen by a hacker who accessed Cyrus's e-mail inbox. Some Great Britain moms have reportedly banned all Miley dolls and toys from their homes as a result. They feel she is unsuitable as a role model for their children. But there's also good news for Ms Cyrus, Chris Martin, leader of top rock band, Coldplay is a fan of hers - see story here. Coldplay has a #1 USA cd and single !
