Though Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's "Magic" tour is winding down (see remaining dates below) , a NYC newspaper has them booked for another gig. The New York Post reported on August 11 that the Boss and the E Street Band will be the featured performers at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, FL this season. But, the NFL nor Springsteen's management have any comment. We can only hope. The day before the Post's story, Fox News mouthpiece, Bill O'Reilly exhibited his reporting skills with in Boston Herald-published column (here) that attacked Springsteen and others because, as best as can be de-coded from the piece, O'Reilly enjoyed a recent Earth, Wind & Fire concert sooooo much because EW&F thanked America and the Boss doesn't. According to Bill-O, Springsteen, Neil Young and Coldplay's Chris Martin all "yell out dumb stuff to their zombie followers and revel in the applause." Oh yeah Bill, and they all hate America.
