Singer, songwriter JOE JACKSON returns to the stage again this year, this time with a planned month of USA concerts, eighteen so far. This time in small, intimate venues. This new tour starting October 15 in San Francisco, CA and ends on November 15 in Miami Beach, FL. Additional South American dates will be announced soon. Jackson is still promoting his album "Rain" (buy a copy, HERE) which was released in January. Returning with Jackson are bassist/vocalist Graham Maby and drummer/vocalist Dave Houghton, both of whom appeared on"Rain", both of whom were members of the original Joe Jackson Band back in 1978.
His song "One More Time" was recently used in Taco Bell commercials in the U.S.A. Since being a smoker, he has campaigned against smoking bans in various cities/countries despite the health dangers of smoking and second hand smoke. Soon after New York enacted a smoking ban a few years back, he moved back to Portsmouth, ENG.
