GREAT MUSIC NEWS- Neil Young’s much antipicated but delayed "Archives" video project finally has a release date; November 3. "Archives Volume One 1963-1972" will be released as a 10-disc Blu-Ray and DVD collection and will feature previously released live sets including "Live At Massey Hall", from 1971, and "Live At The Fillmore East", from 1970, as well as never released studio tracks, demos and artwork. No price has been published, but at 10 discs, we're sure it won't be cheap!! Also, Mr Young is also due to release "Sugar Mountain" on September 29. Exact details of what this cd will contain are still tbd, but it’s hoped to be another set of vintage live material. A bootleg "Live On Sugar Mountain", recorded at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles on the final night of his 1971 solo tour, has long been available, and it’s likely the material for the official release may be taken from that show.
