A brand new song from the new Oasis album, Dig Out Your Soul, has recently appeared online. The new tune, Falling Down features Noel Gallagher on lead vocals. The track starts off with fuzzy sounding computer static with an acoustic guitar and drumbeat joining in. The tune sounds remarkably similar to The Beatles' psychedelic masterpiece Tomorrow Never Knows, from the Revolver album. A Chemical Brothers remix of the track will be featured as a B-side to The Shock Of The Lightning, the first single from the new album. The band released a snippet of the song on their website last week. Noel Gallagher is bringing a new single, THE SHOCK OF LIGHTNING to the UK's BBC Radio 1 for its first official play on the August 15. The new cd, DIG OUT YOUR SOUL is due for release on October 6 (10/7 USA & Canada). Oasis will tour the UK later this year and will announce dates on Friday.
