As we promised yesterday, here's the tour news ---- OASIS has announced today (August 15) a UK live tour comeback by performing in Britain this autumn. The group will hit the road right after releasing seventh studio album 'Dig Out Your Soul'. The band starts off the tour on October 7 (USA & Canada release date of the new cd), the day after the record is released, with the first of two Liverpool Echo Arena gigs. The tour will include cities of Sheffield, Birmingham, London, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Belfast and Aberdeen, before winding up at the Glasgow SECC on Nov. 5. No word yet on any other dates around the globe! In other OASIS news, last night,
the band previewed the set from their upcoming tour to an invited audience in London. Reports were that it was an amazing performance. According to postings on the group's authorized site at Oasisinet.com, "Liam [Gallagher] sounded f*cking spot on, the best he's sounded in years," before ending the set by "walking through the crowd and kissing [wife] Nicole by the bar."
