MUSIC NEWS- The Chicago band, Smashing Pumpkins is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a fall
tour that will feature unique set lists. The tour, which starts November 1 in Cleveland will end December 2 & 3 in Los Angeles, CA. During their several multi-night engagements on this tour, they will offer special priced ticket bundles and the group has promised not repeat any song on the set list. The first night of these multi night runs is being named "Black Sunshine," with the second being called "White Crosses." In their hometown of Chicago,IL the Pumpkins will perform two nights each at the Chicago Theatre and Auditorium Theatre. Before their tour starts, the band will perform as part of Neil Young's annual Bridge School Benefit in Mountain View, CA.
In related news, the band will release a double-DVD live set, "If All Goes Wrong," on November 11. The package contains a 105-minute documentary and a full concert pulled from footage filmed at over eleven sold-out nights during the band's summer 2007 stops at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA.
