MUSIC NEWS- The amazing comeback of Britney continues. Straight from her win of three top awards at last weekend's MTV Video Music Awards, she has confirmed that she'll have a new album before the end of the year!. Called "Circus", it's expected December 2 on Jive Records. The first single is "Womanizer," which was produced by the Outsyders. Others who helped out on the album are Dr. Luke, who wrote and produced the title cut, Danja, Guy Sigsworth, Max Martin and Bloodshy & Avant. In August, Spears spoke about her new release to OK Magazine, "I think it is more urban," adding that she'd been writing everyday at a piano in her living room. "Circus" her follow-up to last year's "BLACKOUT". But, work on this new album was greatly overshadowed by her numerous personal life problems (kids, paparazzi, lawsuits) and of course, her nightmare-ish performance at 2007 MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas. Obviously, one year can make a big difference, as she rides high now on her 2008 VMA wins!
UPDATE 11/10/08- In other Britney news, she shared the stage last Thursday night (11/6) with her former boyfriend, Justin Timberlake and Madonna. It was at Madonna's appearance at Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium as part of her Sticky & Sweet tour that put the pair at the same venue. Spears joined Madonna during the song "Human Nature" while Timberlake joined Madonna to sing "4 Minutes."
