NICK CAVE to Publish Second Novel

MUSIC NEWS- Australian rocker NICK CAVE has signed a deal to publish his second novel, his first book in nearly 20 years. The NICK CAVE AND THE BAD SEEDS star released his critically-acclaimed debut, And The Ass Saw The Angel, in 1989. This debut novel was critically acclaimed at release, and has since achieved cult status. According to the Bookseller.com, Cave's new book will trace "the fortunes of one man and his son on a road trip around the south coast of England following the suicide of his wife". He has recently signed a contract with Canongate publishers to release his highly anticipated follow-up, Death of Bunny Munro. The new book is due for publishing in September 2009.
