DEVO Reunite in Their Akron, OH Hometown

MUSIC NEWS- Going back to their Ohio, USA musical roots, Devo, one of the new wave music era's most original and popular bands, will reunite this week in their hometown of Akron, OH for a benefit for the local Democratic party organization.  Also appearing will be the Black Keys at this Akron Civic Theatre show.  You can grab tix for this historic event at Ticketmaster's site.  At last report, Devo frontman, Mark Mothersbaugh was working on getting fellow Akronite and Pretenders leader Chrissie Hynde (who owns the local restaurant, VegiTerranean bistro) to attend.  She may make an appearance at the show if her schedule allows. Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders are currently touring to promote their new, Break Up the Concrete , release.
