MUSIC NEWS- NJ's own, The Jonas Brothers will hit the field and perform at the Dallas
Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game in Dallas, TX as part of a nationally televised halftime show on the Fox television network on November 27, 2008 at 3:15 pm CST. Their performance kicks off the 2008 Salvation Army Red Kettle Christmas campaign, which runs in the USA through Christmas Eve.
For the last 11 years ,the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game halftime show officially launched the Red Kettle Christmas Campaign on a nationally, becoming an annual holiday tradition. Previous halftime performers include Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crow, Destiny’s Child, Toby Keith, LeAnn Rimes, Creed, Jessica Simpson, Billy Gillman, Clint Black, Randy Travis and Reba McEntire. The infamous Jonas Brothers; Kevin, Joe and Nick,will perform songs from their platinum third studio album A Little Bit Longer, which debuted at #1 on the music charts in August. Since their recording debut in 2005,Jonas Brothers have released three studio albums and stared in Camp Rock (pick up the dvd, here). Additionally, the boys are currently working on their new Disney Channel Original Series, J.O.N.A.S!, which is expected to debut on Disney Channel in Spring, 2009. They're currently taking a break from touring with just shows in Las Vegas, NV (with Justin Timberlake), Hollywood, CA and San Diego, CA announced !

UPDATE 11/26/08 - The Jonas Brothers already have brought an enormous amount of attention to this year’s Red Kettle campaign, with legions of fans seeking out their PSAs (see links above) and discussing the performance on message boards and other online forums. Jonas Brothers will also be hosting their own virtual red kettle for one week beginning today. Fans can visit jonasbrothers.com to donate or join the Jonas Brothers kettle team.
