MUSIC NEWS - Double-disc Collector's Editions of the classic, alternative synth-rock, NEW ORDER albums; Movement, Power, Corruption & Lies, Low-Life, Brotherhood and Technique will be released by Warner / Rhino on November 11. Each set will feature the original Factory Records release remastered and expanded with non-album singles, b-sides and remixes. NEW ORDER, formed in 1980, after the death of Joy Division singer, Ian Curtis, went on to develop a groundbreaking sound that mixed synthesizer-driven pop with electronic dance beats on a series of acclaimed and influential albums. The band; Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert released a total of five albums during the '80s that helped blaze a trail for the alternative music movement that would peak a decade later.
