PHISH to Reunite for Live Shows

     MUSIC NEWS - After their breakup back in 2004, Phish is reuniting in March '09 for a three-night stand at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Va. The March 6,7,8 shows will be the popular jam band's first since its farewell gigs in Coventry, VT, over four years ago.  Despite persistant tour rumors, no other gigs are officially announced from guitarist/vocalist Trey Anastasio, bassist Mike Gordon, keyboardist Page McConnell and drummer Jon Fishman.  Word of a Phish reunion peaked this summer, with band members admitting they started talking about playing together again, even engaging onetime producer Steve Lillywhite.  And, three of the four members played on stage at the Rothbury festival in Michigan this past July 4th weekend, and the full band reunited for a short set earlier this month at  the wedding of former road manager Brad Sands (Stewart Copeland of The Police did his own set at that event too !).  Stay tuned, we expect to hear more about Phish shows some time soon !
