The TING TINGS New CD Work to Begin

    MUSIC NEWS - The English electropop band, The Ting Tings are to set to start work on their new album in January '09.  They're one of the hottest bands in the UK right now, and with good reason!  In the USA, they were nominated for this year's MTV Video of the Year for Shut Up and Let Me Go.  Now, news of a new cd has come out- Jules De Martino told UK's Teletext; "The last record took three or four months to write, and we're looking at a similar time for the next one."   Katie White added: "I tried learning bass to help on the new songs. I'm good on rhythm guitar, but I quickly worked out bass is not my instrument. That won't affect the new songs too much."  This will be the follow up to their May 2008 release, We Started Nothing.  Check out That's Not My Name video on our Today's Video Clip page.
