MUSIC NEWS - The much over-discussed Zep reunion seems to be settled now. Rockers Led Zeppelin have confirmed they are going to tour under a different name while they are without their frontman Robert Plant. As you've heard, the supergroup announced last month that they plan to hit the road in 2009 without Plant, who has decided not to participate in the reunion shows. The remaining members, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and the late John Bonham's son, Jason, are now auditioning singers to take over vocals from Mr Plant. Several names have been rumored and denied, so MNN will wait for better info. But at least, finally after weeks of speculation (and public and industry outcry), the band has confirmed that they will not be using the Led Zeppelin name for the live shows, because it is not the same band without Plant. A spokesman for the trio says, "Whatever this is, it is not Led Zeppelin. Not without the involvement of Robert Plant". That hopefully clears it up, once and for all.
