MUSIC NEWS - Is nothing sacred??? Straight from his win as Best Act Ever at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards Rick Astley personally 'Rick-rolled' the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade yesterday, November 27 in New York City. Astley appeared out of nowhere on the "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends' (Cartoon Network) kids TV show float and mimed to his 1987 British #1 hit 'Never Gonna Give You Up' in the middle of Blue and his friends singing, 'You're My Best Friend'. At the end of RIck's performance, Blue yelled, "I like Rick-rolling!" He's of course referring to the internet phenon that had prank internet links on websites linking to a video of Astley's tune.
