MUSIC NEWS - Singer Elvis Costello will headline an all-star line-up at a Washington DC Inaugural Party on January 20, 2009 to celebrate US President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration. Sting and Sam Moore will also appear at the event, which will raise funds for the non-profit arts and entertainment advocacy group, The Creative Coalition. A few of the many confirmed guests are; Anne Hathaway, Susan Sarandon, Marcia Cross , Alan Cumming, Seal. Director Spike Lee will also appear at the sold-out event alongside members of US Congress at the Harman Center of the Arts.
Costello can currently be seen on US TV screens in his Spectacle program, a cable show that has him discussing and performing music with celebrity guests.
