MUSIC NEWS - Schedule for the 2009 Sounds Like Brooklyn Festival has been announced with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Chairlift, Beirut and Kaki King participating in the February NY event. The shows which are promoted as a celebration of Brooklyn’s musical talent, will have acts perform in 13 venues across the NYC borough on February 6-7 and 12-14. The thirteen venues have partnered with Brooklyn Academy of Music, whose Howard Gilman Opera House will host the larger acts during the festival. Tickets for Beirut with Kaki King, as well as the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Chairlift show can be purchased by calling BAM Ticket Services at 718.636.4100 or by visiting www.BAM.org (on sales 12/12).
