MUSIC NEWS - After cancelling their 2008 series of shows at New York City's Beacon Theatre, the Allman Brothers Band have annouced a 2009 run ! The band will perform ten shows at the venue starting on March 9 and will include March 10, March 12 thru 14, March 16 & 17 and March 19 thru 21 in the series of shows. Ticket information has not yet been announced. As a result of keyboardist/ singer Gregg Allman's recovery from hepatitis C (he's fine now and on a solo tour! ), ABB was unable to conduct the annual Beacon Th concert series in '08.
UPDATE 2/1/09 - The ABB have added March 23–24 and March 26-28 shows to their previously announced March 9-10, March 12, March 13-14, March 16-17 and March 19-21 gigs. Tickets for the newly added dates are available for purchase Feb. 6.
