GLASVEGAS Embark on '09 Jaunt With Debut Full Length Album !

     MUSIC NEWS -  Scottish rockers, Glasvegas are in Boston, MA today (1/4/09) to kick off their 2009 World tour and the release of their debut CD, GlasVegas on Sony/Columbia.  Their first full length release, after several EPs and a Holiday release was produced by James Allan and Rich Costey.  While in NYC on January 5, they've arranged a special in-store performance at Virgin Megastore in Union Square, followed by a CD signing.  That same day, they appear on Late Night with David Letterman !  Glasvegas are; of James Allan (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rab Allan (lead guitar, backing vocals), Paul Donoghue (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Caroline McKay (drums).  If you haven't heard the band yet, you should check em out.  The BBC described the band’s self-titled debut as “rockabilly and pop from the 1950s and 1960s, using a backdrop of brooding guitars to create their own wall of sound.”   It's good stuff !!  (check out full itinerary below)-
