MUSIC NEWS - An true American legend, STEVIE WONDER, will contribute a brand-new tune, “All About the Love Again,” to a new music compilation, releasing nest week to coincide with Inauguration Day called, THE OBAMA SOUNDTRACK. The compilation CD is out Tuesday, January 20, 2009 by Hidden Beach Records, which also released Yes We Can during the campaign (Universal Motown will distribute). The new album will also feature songs by Black Eyed Peas, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Jennifer Hudson, Robin Thicke and others.
Stevie Wonder's songs & music had been prominent throughout the campaign of then-Illinois Senator Obama. Wonder performed his 1970 smash “Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)” live at Denver Colorado’s Invesco Field to the 08 Democratic National Convention gathering where Obama accepted the Dem's nomination, while the original recording played at campaign rallies across the USA, as well as at the President-elect’s victory address in Chicago’s Grant Park. The song also appeared on a special music compilation CD, Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement, a benefit project for the Obama campaign.
