MUSIC NEWS - In case you missed OASIS in the NYC subway system last fall working to promote their new album, DIG OUT YOUR SOUL, check out the new 18 minute documentary of their efforts. The short film highlights band members teaching several local NYC street performers tunes off the new release. Debuting on MySpace in high def (the first for MySpace we're told), you can see it at MySpace.com/Oasis. Directed by The Malloys (brothers Emmett and Brandan), who've worked on music videos for The White Stripes, Avril Lavigne, Dave Matthews Band and others, the film captures Liam Gallagher, Andy Bell and Gem Archer in NYC teaching local street performers how to sing some new OASIS songs! The selected street musicians came from all parts of NYC, and have a variety of different ethnic, musical and creative backgrounds. They performed Oasis's new songs at locations throughout the city, including MTA approved subway station platforms in Grand Central, Times Square, Penn Station and Astor Place.
