MUSIC NEWS- Good news for Deadheads and jam band fans --- After some late 2008 shows to support Barack Obama, this spring, the remaining members of the Grateful Dead will conduct their first tour in five years, since their "Wave That Flag" tour ! The band will take to the road starting on April 12, 2009 in Greensboro, N.C., and will play sixteen "evening with" shows in nineteen cities through May 10, ending in the group's hometown of, San Francisco. Tickets start going on sale January 13, 2009. The original Dead members; Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart will be helped out by keyboardist Jeff Chimenti (Rat Dog) and Allman Brothers Band/Gov't Mule guitarist Warren Haynes. "For me, it's the question mark that's really pulling me in ... what's gonna happen?," says Lesh. "When you walk out on the stage the possibilities are infinite every time."
