ALLMAN BROS. NYC Beacon Theatre Run to Stream On-Line, for a Fee

     MUSIC NEWS - A web-casting of the southern rock legends, Allman Brothers Band's 40th anniversary 15-day concert series, live from the recently renovated Beacon Theatre in NYC has been announced by Webstream Media.  The band's March Madness NYC series of shows begins on March 9, 2009. Each three-hour concert will be unique and feature surprise, celebrity musicians in music tribute to Duane Allman, the band's original guitarist and leader, who passed away in 1971.

"We wanted a way to share our special anniversary series with all of our fans worldwide, not just the ones who are able to join us in-person at the Beacon Theatre," said Butch Trucks, drummer and original band member for the Allman Brothers Band.

For a fee of $125.00 you can view all 15 concerts live. The events will also be archived for subsequent playback and subscribers can replay any of the concerts for 6 months following the live event. At press time, the entire 15 show series at the Beacon Theatre was sold out and the on-line webcast is now the only way for Allman Brothers fans to experience the entire concert series.
