The 09 tour's launch also is coincides with Rhino Records' June 2 release of CROSBY, STILLS & NASH DEMOS, a single-disc collection of early versions of destined-to-be-classic songs later heard on the group's studio albums and solo titles. The set opens with a January 1969 recording of "Marrakesh Express," goes as far back as '68 with the Stephen Stills solo track "My Love Is A Gentle Thing," and features other rarities including seminal takes on "Almost Cut My Hair," "Chicago" and "Long Time Gone." CSN is currently in the studio, working on a new album with ten-time GRAMMY-winning producer Rick Rubin. Stock up on current CSN cds here.
Throughout changing times and various configurations--David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash have continued to tour and record music together, delivering songs conveying emotional truths and social activism in equal measure. Forty years on from their first live set at Max Yasgur's farm, they are still "three together."
