MUSIC NEWS -Crosby, Stills and Nash, the trio who once formed the supergroup CSN&Y with Neil Young have joing the roster at Glastonbury with their former bandmate, who's already been confirmed. The band's CSN Website has a June 27, 2009 date listed (followed by European tour dates), though the exact date of Young's gig has not been confirmed. Young, who joined up with David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash in the late 1960s to form the group, was announced as the 3rd headliner for Glastonbury 2009 this week.
Crosby, Nash and Stills came together from the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield and the Hollies, after leaving the band to pursue other projects. Young joined them after their 1969 debut and was one of the driving forces behind their classic folk/rock album Deja Vu (buy cd here) . Young's been in & out of the band since then, especially after recording albums with his group, Crazy Horse, while CSN (buy their music here) have continued to perform.
