DECEMBERISTS Live From SXSW, on the Web

     MUSIC NEWS - A SXSW concert not to miss, even if you're not at the event... NPR Music will open this year's South by Southwest Music and Media Conference(SXSW) in Austin, TX, with the live webcast of a Decemberists concert from Stubbs Bar-B-Q (The Avett Brothers and The Heartless Bastards open the event at the venue). This event will be the  band's first live performance of the music on their brand new, "Hazards of Love" album, in advance of its March 24 release (buy here).  The show will be archived and podcast after its debut at 11 PM Wednesday, March 18, at NPR.org.
