MUSIC NEWS - Attention Boston music fans --- U2 has unannounced plans for an intimate club gig. In additon to their "intimate" show at Fordham University in the Bronx, NYC on March 6 for the AM tv program, Good Morning America, Bono & company have scheduled a March 11, 2009 show in Boston (reportedly at the Somerville, Theatre) .
The surprise show was announced this morning on several Boston radio stations--including WBCN, WLZX and WBOS---all will be giving away tickets for the show via on-air contests. No other ticket information has been announced, and the venue for the gig has not been revealed. A formal tour announcement by the band is expected on March 9.
