MUSIC NEWS- Eclectic rockers Akron/Family will set us wild & free on May 5 with their new release, Set 'Em Wild, Set 'Em Free, (via Dead Oceans [US]). And, the group's offering up their new tune, "River," as a free downloadable track for a taste of the new album. They will be performing an all ages show at The Bowery Ballroom in NYC on Wednesday, May 6 to celebrate the album release and will have album release shows in Boston (Cambridge), MA and Burlington, VT. To promote Set 'Em..., the group will be on an extensive tour (itineray below) with a full run of headlining and festival (APW, 10KL, Calgary Folk) shows.
