MUSIC NEWS - With the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND recently wrapping up their historic 15 night stand at NYC's legendary (and recently renovated) Beacon Theatre, it's a good time to watch the all new MSG Originals documentary on the 80-year-old venue, airing April 9th at 10 pm on MSG network
This MSG Original program will explore the theatre’s colorful history from the it's opening as a vaudeville house in 1929, through the much anticipated grand re-opening in February of 2009. Through archival concert footage and photos, artist interviews, discussions with the promoters who made it all happen, and a behind-the-scenes look at the painstaking renovation, you'll get aa amazing glimpse of a concert hall that is so much bigger than the music alone.
