MUSIC NEWS - Eli Young Band makes their national tv debut this Thursday, April 2 on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC (12:05 am eastern /11:05 pm central). They'll perform their current single “Always the Love Songs”, now 15 on the Mediabase chart and 16 on the R&R/Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart. They will also perform “When It Rains” ! It's the longest running independent single in the history of the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart. The tune was featured last week as the iTunes Discovery Download and received more than 135,000 downloads ! The band is Mike Eli (vocals, guitar), James Young (guitar), Jon Jones (bass) and Chris Thompson (drums). Their third album, Jet Black & Jealous is out on Universal South Records.
