MUSIC NEWS - With over 22 years gone by since their first release, in 2009, The Indigo Girls have recently delivered their latest album, the two-disc set "Poseidon and the Bitter Bug". Amy Ray and Emily Salier have put the new album out on their own label IG Recordings with distribution by Vanguard Records (buy copy here). A 23 song collection, one CD is all acoustic, while the other features the Indigo Girls electric. The title of the record came from veteran producer, arranger and keyboardist Mitchell Froom (MIssy Higgins, Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello), who also worked on the Indigo Girls' 2006 release, "Despite Our Differences."
