MEG & DIA's New "Here, here and here" album and "Black Wedding" Video
MUSIC NEWS - Meg & Dia are back for the release of their second album, entitled Here, here and here. It's out on April 21st via Warner Bros. Records. The new video for the album's lead-off single, "Black Wedding" premiered on MTV this week, check it out below. The video was shot and directed by Aaron Platt (OneRepublic, Queens of The Stone Age) and can be seen below. Also, check out their Black Wedding contest.
MySpace Music is holding an online album listening party today, April 16th, where fans can listen to the entire album before release at MySpace.com/megdia . Here, here and here (order your copy from MNN) was written and recorded with producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects). Over the course of its 13 brand-new studio tracks (written entirely by the Frampton sisters, Meg and Dia), the album chronicles the past few years in the life of this hardworking band, which is made up of Meg (guitar, vocals), Dia (lead vocal), Nick Price (drums), Carlo Gimenez (guitar), and Jonathan Snyder (bass). Here, here and here also showcases Meg & Dia's growing ability to express themselves with their music by incorporating new instrument arrangements and a new pool of lyrical influences, as well as developing their distinctive brand of pop-rock.
Meg & Dia again join the Vans Warped Tour for the summer 2009 run, their third year as part of the event! Beginning and ending in California, Meg & Dia are booked for the two-month nationwide tour on the Hurley Stage. They will perform songs from Here, here and here, as well as tunes from their debut album Something Real, (pick up a copy here), including the singles "Monster" and "Roses."

You have until next Monday to pre-order the album from the band's website, MegandDia.com, and receive an autographed copy of the album insert along with an early download of "Agree to disagree" (GarageBand demo). A special CD/DVD package of Here, here and here, which includes a 30-minute video of Meg & Dia behind-the-scenes writing and recording the album over the summer in L.A., will also be available for pre-order until next week. At elease, the special CD/DVD package will ony be sold through the band's website. A vinyl version will also available.
