Music News- Hear NEKO CASE live from Washington, DC's 9:30 Club, thanks to NPR Music’s “Live in Concert from All Songs Considered” series. The show will be webcast live on Thursday, April 9, 2009. Case, also a part of The New Pornographers, will perform songs from her eighth solo album, the popular & critically acclaimed, Middle Cyclone. Her unique blend of classic country and gospel is evident on Middle Cyclone, which is comprised of what Case says are “a bunch of love songs" .
The entire show will be available for live, free streaming beginning at 9:30PM (ET) at NPR.org/Music. Opening will be Eric Bachmann’s Crooked Fingers, and the entire show wil be archived and podcast at the site. Crooked Fingers is a Denver-based indie rock band fronted by Eric Bachmann, formerly of Archer of Loaf. It first release was in 2000, and since then, Crooked Fingers has developed a rich and diverse sound; its sixth album Forefeit/Fortune, features Neko Case on a few tracks
