BLUR, "Midlife... Best of" Release Announced in UK and USA

     MUSIC NEWS - Blur plans a new "best of" compilation for release next month.  Called, 'Midlife: A Beginners Guide To Blur', it'll be two disc collection of twenty-five tracks (full track list after the break), and will be out on June 15, 2009 in the UK ( July 28 via Capitol/EMI in the USA).  A statement said that the new release is for those who missed the band first time around, and coincides with their previously reported reunion, saying: "The collection has been designed as an introduction for those who might have missed out on Blur's prolific recording career".  Their first Best Of was released back in 2000.

USA fans; don't despair, tour dates in the US are under discussion for the same time frame as their upcoming UK gigs (June/July).  Stay tuned...
