MUSIC NEWS - Rock bassist and Seattle native DUFF MCKAGAN (Duff McKagan’s Loaded, Velvet Revolver, Guns N’ Roses) makes his radio hosting debut with “Radio Loaded,” a one-hour show on 99.9 KISW “The Rock of Seattle” and at KISW.com . The show will air Tuesday, May 12 at 10:00am Pacific Time. Right after the brooadcast, the entire show and bonus material will be available for streaming and download at the station's site. McKagan said about his new gig; “I’ve always had a lot of fun as a guest on the air at KISW,” “We figured it was about time they completely turned the reins over to me for an hour.”
DUFF MCKAGAN’S LOADED is touring the USA and Europe (see itinerary below) in support of their April released full-length album, SICK, which was recorded by Martin Feveyear (Presidents of the USA, Kings of Leon). Already, the album’s first single “Flatline” is buzzing at radio. The group will head overseas for various European festival and club dates in June. While on tour, DUFF continues to pen the weekly Playboy.com “Duffonomics” financial column and contributes the “Reverb” column to Seattle Weekly.
