MUSIC NEWS - We have the new, Girl in a Coma's "Static Mind" tune, the firey first single from their sophomore album 'Trio B.C.'. The San Antonio, TX trio (Nina, Phanie and Jenn) revisited the classic "alternative" music that they grew up on - Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Sonic Youth - while writing 'Trio B.C.' on the road last summer (during which the girls found themselves with a slot on Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Tour as well as opening for Tegan and Sara).
Stream "Static Mind" a listen and learn more about Girls in a Coma. Their sophomore album follow-up to Both Before I'm Gone will be out on Joan Jett's Blackheart Records, releasing June 2. The album was produced by Joan Jett, Kenny Laguna, Gabriel Gonzalez (formerly of Sparta) and Greg Collins (No Doubt, U2).
