MUSIC NEWS- The Brooklyn-based quartet, Grizzly Bear will "officially" premiere their sophomore album, Veckatimest, on MySpace Music. Though the album has been widely circulated on torrent sites you can hear it now (again). If you were wondering, the album gets its name from a Massachusetts island, off Cape Cod, that the group visited while recording. The new release was produced by Grizzly Bear's own Chris Taylor (bass, woodwinds). Other band members are Ed Droste (vocals), Christopher Bear (drums) and Daniel Rossen (vocals/guitar). Veckatimest is their follow-up to 2006's Yellow House and has been much anticipated. The band's record company (Warp Records) has also arranged a number of listening parties on Monday, 5/25 to hear the release with other likeminded folks, see location list at Grizzly-Bear.net.
