Special Nights on STEELY DAN's "RENT PARTY '09 TOUR"

     MUSIC NEWS - STEELY DAN has announced plans for their USA Rent Party '09 Tour that will include multi-night stands of special setlist shows in  NYC, Boston, Los Angeles, and Chicago.  These "special engagements" will offer one of the following programs:

        Classic Album (Plus) Night: Setlist will be one of three classic Steely Dan albums  ("Aja," "Gaucho" or "The Royal Scam") in their entirety plus selected additional favorites!

        "Takin' It To The Seats" Internet Request Night: Setlist will be determined by internet votes of ticket-holders for that show

Before you buy a ticket, you'll know which of the setlists will be played on that night.  (see itinerary, and show details below).

The classic-rock/ers, with core members Walter Becker and Donald Fagen are in the US at the beginning/middle of June before heading to their "A Left Bank Holiday" European run in late June into July.  Steely Dan then return to the USA for dates thru September 6; starting with a three-night run in Boston beginning July 22, then right to NYC for four nghts at the Beacon Theatre!

This US trek is the fourth year in a row the pair has toured after staying off the road for several years. "Everything Must Go", the duo's most recent release (2003), which followed their first studio album in 20 years, "Two Against Nature" (2000).
