The Dead Weather Surprise Glastonbury Fest Crowd

     MUSIC NEWS - The Dead Weather surprised festival goers with an unnanounced performance at the currently running UK music festival, Glastonbury on Friday, June 26.  Jack White's new project, comprised of Alison Mosshart from The Kills, Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist Dean Fertita, and bassist Jack Lawrence, weren’t listed on the advertised line-up, and were billed as special guests on a small stage. The four-piece wore black outfits for their set, and among cover tunes, debuted material from their forthcoming July 14 release, Horehound. The played Van Morrision's ('You Just Can't Win'), West Coast Art Pop Experimental Band ('Child Of A Few Hours') and Bob Dylan's, 'New Pony', which appears on  'Horehound'.  Full set list below.
