THE VERONICAS Return for Headline USA Tour, New Single & Video

MUSIC NEWS - Right off the huge success of their latest single "Untouched," super-hot Aussie pop-rock band The Veronicas are returning to the road for their "Revenge Is Sweeter" summer 2009 headlining tour (full itinerary below). The Veronicas will also be featured on the week-long mtvU (MTV's 24 hour college network) "Sunblock Music Festival," that begins in NYC at Jones Beach on July 23. The band will perform at a string of radio and festival dates throughout the summer, with the full schedule listed below. Led by 24-year-old twins Lisa and Jessica Origliasso, the band made a short warm-up tour in May; their first stateside run here since last year. Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.com, as well as on their website at TheVeronicas.com.

The Veronicas have just released "Take Me on the Floor," the second single from their current album Hook Me Up, (out via Sire Records) to radio stations, where it's been added to more than 40 stations across the country, including XM's daily countdown show 20 on 20. And we have the video, below. The Veronicas have been riding high with the soaring success of "Untouched," the first single from Hook Me Up. The track, which has sold nearly 1.5 million downloads.
