MUSIC NEWS - Moby's announced an Autumn tour to support his latest album – Wait For Me - out this past June via Mute. And, surprisingly, the DJ / songwriter / musician / artist is touring with a live band ! A first since 2005. Appearing with Moby on this outing will be friend, former Moonraker vocalist and artist, Kelli Scarr and a drummer, bassist and violinist. Moby will stay true to his fashion and accompany himself on guitar, piano and percussion, as well as handling some lead vocal duties, all this according to his Web site.
The tour starts on the East Coast at Ram’s Head Live! in Baltimore, MD on September 17. From there it’s off to the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC on September 18, then Theatre of The Living Arts (TLA) in Philadelphia on September 20 and NYC’s Irving Plaza September 21.
