Paul McCartney Returns to the Ed Sullivan Theater, Well Almost

     Music News- Showbiz411 reports that Paul McCartney's return to the Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC will have Sir Paul and his band perform on the marquee of the historic theater, not on the stage he and the Beatles graced some 45 years ago.  The appearance, Wednesday, July 15, on Late Show with David Letterman will be his first appearance on the show.  He's scheduled to hang around and talk to Dave, likely talking about his upcoming USA concert dates.  The historic Broadway street, a traffic problem on a good rush hour day, will be shut down for several blocks during for the Paul McCartneytaping.
