MUSIC NEWS - Organizers of this year's Bridge School Benefit concert, scheduled for October 24 & 25, 2009 at the beautiful Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA have announced the list of performers. The school's co-founder and event host, Neil Young headlines the bill that will also have No Doubt, Jimmy Buffett, Coldplay's Chris Martin, Sheryl Crow and Monsters of Folk, among others, performing.
Day one boasts performances from those artists, plus Fleet Foxes, Wolfmother and Gavin Rossdale. Buffett performs on the first day one, with Adam Sandler performing on the second day.
Tickets for the event go on sale September 20 via LiveNation.com and charge-by-phone at (877) 598-6659 for $75 and $150 (reserved seating), with general admission tix costing $39.50 (plus fees). A four-ticket purchase limit has been placed on the reserved seating tix, and eight-ticket limit for lawn/general admission seats.
Proceeds from the shows support the Bridge School's work with children with severe physical and speech impediments.
