MUSE to Premiere "UPRISING" Video on September 17

     MUSIC NEWS - The video for “Uprising,” the initial single from Muse’s new album The Resistance, is premiering in the USA on MTV starting at 3am, opening AMTV on Thursday, September 17.  The video was directed by New York’s Hydra, and it will also premiere on 9/17 on MTV2, mtvU, MTV Hits, MTV.com, MTV Tr3s, VH1.com, and Logo.  It'll also be available all day on mtvmusic.com.  

“Uprising” is the British rock trio’s first #1 single in the USA and the track is the first single from the band’s new studio album The Resistance, and was produced by Muse and mixed by famed audio engineer Mark ‘Spike’ Stent. The band performed at Sunday’s 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (from the Walter Kerr Theatre) and will be special guests at select shows for U2, including two shows at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on September 23 and 24.
