MUSIC NEWS - The video premiere for Manchester Orchestra's second single, "Shake It Out," will be on MySpace, Columbia Records and Favorite Gentlemen tells us. The video will at MySpace for 48 hours starting on November 6 at 3pm EST. The video is said to be a brilliant homage to 1980's action films (tongue firmly planted in cheek, of course).
The epic "Shake It Out" is the second single from Manchester Orchestra's sophomore album, Mean Everything To Nothing. "I've Got Friends," the first single from the album got good traction on the Modern Rock chart and reached the #8 at its peak. Alternative Press recently named the song as one of the top 100 songs of the decade!
The band will soon join Brand New and Glassjaw for their very special hometown show at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY, on November 28th, then are off to Europe in November to open for Biffy Clyro and to do headline dates in Germany with USA dates (radio holiday shows manly) when they come back to the USA.
