MUSIC NEWS - THE FLAMING LIPS get a well deserved honor for their new album ! They've cracked the Top 10 on the Billboard top 200 Album charts for the first time ever, with the release of their brand new album, Embryonic (out via Warner Bros Records). The Oklahoma City’s Official State Rock Song authors' new record was the week’s second-biggest debut upon release on October 13. The Flaming Lips' last album, 2006's AT WAR WITH THE MYSTICS, debuted and peaked at # 11.
